New Delhi, May 15, 2025 —
India has officially rejected fake news reports being spread by some international media houses which claimed that Indian Rafale jets were shot down by Pakistan during the recent Indo-Pak conflict. The Government of India and the Indian Air Force have made it clear:
“Not a single Rafale jet has been damaged. No proof has been shown by Pakistan. The claims are false and politically motivated.”
Operation Sindoor Proves India’s Strength
During a planned military operation called Operation Sindoor, Indian forces successfully destroyed multiple terror camps in Pakistan-occupied areas without crossing international borders. These sites were protected by advanced Chinese defense systems, including radar and missiles.
Despite these defenses, Indian Air Force easily bypassed and neutralized the threats.
Indian weapons like Sukhoi-30, Rafale, Akash missiles, and the S-400 air defense system (Sudarshan Chakra) performed with high precision.
Chinese Defense Systems Failed in Real War
Pakistan relied heavily on Chinese-made J-10C fighter jets, PL-15 missiles, and surface-to-air missile systems from China. But all these systems failed to detect or stop Indian attacks.
In reality, these Chinese systems:
- Could not track Indian jets
- Missed multiple interception attempts
- Were destroyed in retaliatory strikes
Experts now say that Pakistan became a live test zone for China’s weapons — and those weapons did not pass.
Western Media Spreading Misinformation — Without Evidence
Many Western news outlets, especially from the US and Europe, published stories claiming that:
- Pakistan shot down Rafale jets
- India’s S-400 was destroyed
- Indian missiles failed to hit targets
But no satellite images, no video footage, and no military confirmation have been provided to support these claims. On the other hand, India shared visuals of accurate strikes, fully operational bases, and PM Narendra Modi’s direct visit to the active S-400 Sudarshan Chakra base.
India has demanded responsible journalism and called out the biased reporting that favors China’s defense exports and undermines India’s military success.

Western Narrative Also Targeting Russian Weapons
This misinformation is not new. In recent years, the Western media has also been running campaigns against Russian defense systems, especially during the Russia–Ukraine war.
Weapons like:
- S-400 missile systems
- Sukhoi fighter jets
- T-90 tanks
have been wrongly projected as “ineffective” by some Western outlets, despite being used successfully by multiple countries including India.
Analysts believe this is part of a geopolitical strategy to promote Western arms markets and defame Russian and now Indian allies.
