One check. One walk. One easy commute.

New Delhi – Daily commuting often becomes tiring because of long queues, repeated security checks and crowded interchanges. This problem is now being solved at New Ashok Nagar with the launch of a single-point security system between Namo Bharat and the Delhi Metro. The idea is simple—check once and move freely between both services, saving time and energy every day.
Under the new system, commuters shifting from the Blue Line Metro to Namo Bharat towards Meerut will not face a second security check. Similarly, passengers arriving by Namo Bharat and moving towards Noida through the Metro will also skip repeat screening. A newly operational Foot Over Bridge (FOB) connects both stations, and a new security checkpoint at Metro Gate No. 2 ensures safety without slowing commuters down.

For office-goers and students, this change means shorter queues, less crowding and more predictable travel time. When interchanges become smooth, the entire journey feels lighter and faster. This also supports Namo Bharat’s promise of speed, helping keep the Delhi–Meerut journey under one hour.
This commuter-first thinking is also visible at Ghaziabad. A dedicated FOB now links Ghaziabad Namo Bharat station with Shaheed Sthal Metro station. The bridge is about 300 metres long and 6.5 metres wide, allowing comfortable movement. In the coming months, travellators will be added to make walking easier for elderly passengers and those with luggage. Located near a busy bus terminal and dense neighbourhoods, this station handles heavy daily footfall, making seamless interchange essential.

Digital integration is also improving the travel experience. With integrated QR ticketing, commuters can book tickets for both Namo Bharat and Delhi Metro through either mobile app. This means no long ticket queues and no platform switching.
Namo Bharat Key Points – How the New System Saves Your Time
